Is Camper the official Bandcamp app?
No. Camper is independent software, not affiliated with or endorsed by Bandcamp. It plays your Bandcamp collection, and when you buy, you buy on Bandcamp.
Can I listen to my Bandcamp purchases offline on iPhone?
Yes. Download anything you own and it plays without a connection. Downloads wait for Wi-Fi unless you tell Camper cellular is fine.
Does Camper work with CarPlay?
Yes. Your collection is right there on the car display, and you can also play over AirPlay around the house.
Do I need a Bandcamp account?
Not to explore. Discover, Bandcamp Daily, and Radio work without signing in. To play your collection, connect your Bandcamp account, and your wishlist and the artists you follow come along when you sign in on Bandcamp’s page.
Is my Bandcamp password safe?
Camper never asks for your Bandcamp password. You sign in on Bandcamp’s own page, and Camper connects with the Subsonic credentials Bandcamp generates for you in Fan Settings. You can also enter them yourself. Either way, they stay encrypted on your device.
Which iPhones does it support?
iPhone, iPhone Duo, and iPad on iOS 17 and later.
